These general terms and conditions of sale are concluded between the company STERED and internet users who wish to make a purchase on the "stered.eu" website, hereinafter referred to as "the client".
1. Acceptance of conditions
The client acknowledges having read, at the time of placing the order, the specific conditions of sale stated on this screen and expressly declares to accept them without reservation.
These general terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between STERED and its client, both parties accepting them without reservation. These general terms and conditions of sale shall prevail over all other conditions appearing in any other document, except for prior, express, and written derogation.
2. Products
2.1 - The photographs illustrating the products are not part of the contractual scope. If errors have been introduced, under no circumstances can STERED be held liable. The majority of products offered to its customers by STERED are available in our warehouse.
2.2 - Gift Cards
Gift Cards available for sale on stered.eu are only sold in paper format and include a promotional code. These codes must be used in a single order. In the event that the shopping cart amount is less than the Gift Card amount, no change will be given. Only one Gift Card can be used per order and within its usage period fixed at 6 months from its issue date by STERED. Beyond this period, no extension of validity can be requested if the Gift Card has not been used. No shipping costs are charged for ordering a Gift Card alone delivered in metropolitan France. These are applied to an entire order containing items in addition to the Gift Card. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase other Gift Cards.
3. Order
Automatic registration systems are considered proof of the nature, content, and date of the order. STERED confirms acceptance of the order to the client at the email address provided by the client. The sale will only be concluded upon confirmation of the order. STERED reserves the right to cancel any order from a client with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order. The information provided by the buyer when placing the order is binding: in case of an error in the recipient's contact details, the seller cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product.
4. Delivery
4.1. - The delivery times indicated on the site are indicative, corresponding to average processing and delivery times.
Deliveries are made according to the client's choice by post via Colissimo tracking or via Mondial Relay. The carrier undertakes by contract with STERED to deliver the order to the buyer's address provided by STERED. In the case of a cash-on-delivery system, the client undertakes to pay the carrier or its representative the full amount indicated at the time of order confirmation.
Furthermore, for deliveries outside metropolitan France, the client undertakes to pay all taxes due on the importation of products, customs duties, value-added tax, and all other taxes due under the laws of the country of receipt of the order. All orders placed with STERED are intended for the personal use of clients; clients or recipients of products are prohibited from any partial or total resale of the products.
STERED is therefore released from all legal responsibilities if the payment of taxes is not made by the client.
Are considered as cases of force majeure releasing the seller from its obligation to deliver, war, riot, fire, strikes, accidents, and the impossibility of being supplied. Goods always travel at the recipient's risk. Always check your package upon arrival. You have 48 hours to make any reservations with the carrier in case of missing items or damage.
STERED cannot be held responsible for consequences due to a delivery delay not caused by it.
For reasons of availability, an order may be delivered to the client in several installments. The client then only pays for one delivery. If the client wishes 2 delivery locations, they place 2 orders, with associated delivery costs.
In case of a package not collected within the timeframe specified by Mondial Relay and returned to the sender, the return shipping costs are borne by the client.
If, in this context, the client prefers to request a refund rather than a re-shipment, the shipping costs actually incurred for the initial shipment will then be deducted from the refunded amount, even if the initial delivery benefited from a promotion or exemption from shipping costs.
4.2 - Exchanges
Have you purchased an item from our online store and the size doesn't fit? You have 30 days to return the item to us, indicating your contact details and the new size desired. Upon receipt, we will send you a new garment and, to ensure your utmost satisfaction, STERED will cover the re-shipping costs.
The item concerned should be returned to us at the following address: STERED - Parc d'Activités Kénéah Ouest - 5 rue de Molène - 56400 Plougoumelen. This item must not have been worn and must be properly folded in its original packaging.
It is imperative that products are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Damaged, soiled, or incomplete items will not be accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse the return of goods that have not been returned in compliance with the stipulated provisions.
The re-shipping costs of your order are offered, the return costs of exchanged items remaining at your charge.
For orders outside the European Union, no exchange is possible, the item will be automatically refunded.

4.3 - Right of Withdrawal
You have 14 days (from the receipt of items) to make up your mind.

In case of exercising the right of withdrawal, STERED is obliged to refund the sums paid by the client, without charge, with the exception of return costs. The refund is due within a maximum of 15 days.
5. Price
The price is expressed in Euros.
The price indicated on the product sheets does not include transport.
The price indicated in the order confirmation is the final price, expressed all taxes included and including VAT for France and EU countries. This price includes the price of the products, handling, packaging and storage costs of the products, and transport costs.
6. Payment
Payment is made by bank card bearing the CB symbol. Your online payment is made via a bank server in a secure environment. Your bank card number is therefore directed to the bank's servers, your payment is made without passing through the store's server, a guarantee all the more important as your numbers are known only to our banking partner, Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne. The order validated by the client will only be considered effective when the concerned bank payment centers have given their agreement. In case of refusal by said centers, the order will be automatically canceled and the client notified by email.
Furthermore, STERED reserves the right to refuse any order from a client with whom there is a dispute.
7. Disputes
7.1 - For all stages of accessing the site, consulting, filling out forms, placing orders, delivering items, or any other service, STERED has only an obligation of means.
7.2 - This contract is subject to French law. STERED cannot be held responsible for damages of any kind, whether material, immaterial, or bodily, which could result from a malfunction or misuse of the marketed products. The same applies to any modifications of products resulting from manufacturers. The responsibility of STERED will, in any case, be limited to the amount of the order and cannot be called into question for simple errors or omissions that may have persisted despite all precautions taken in the presentation of the products.
In case of dispute, the client will first contact the company to obtain an amicable solution. Failing this, the Commercial Court of Rennes has sole jurisdiction, regardless of the place of delivery and the accepted payment method.
8. Warranty
STERED cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with the regulatory and legislative provisions in force in the country of reception. STERED's responsibility is systematically limited to the value of the product in question, its value on its date of sale, and without possibility of recourse against the brand or the producing company of the product.
9. Legal Information
The provision of personal information collected for the purpose of distance selling is mandatory, this information being essential for the processing and shipment of orders, the establishment of invoices and warranty contracts. Failure to provide information results in the non-validation of the order. In accordance with the "Data Protection Act", the processing of personal information relating to clients has been declared to the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (CNIL). The client has (Article 34 of the law of January 6, 1978) a right to access, modify, rectify, and delete data concerning them, which they can exercise with STERED. Furthermore, STERED undertakes not to communicate, for free or with consideration, the contact details of its clients to a third party.
