Sting & STERED
An unexpected story between Sting and STERED: a spark that takes the brand far beyond the borders of Brittany.
STING DISCOVERS STERED
In the autumn of 2020, Sting discovered STERED through musician Fred Renaudin, a friend of the brand who was collaborating with the artist on his album The Bridge.
Captivated by our visuals and our world, he in turn chose to wear one of our iconic models: the Sea Adventurer T-shirt.
A story as simple as it was unexpected, which took STERED far beyond the Breton coast.
Under the lens of Max Vadukul
A few weeks later, Sting appears as A Sea Adventurer before Max Vadukul’s lens.
A British photographer renowned for his black-and-white portraits, Max Vadukul has collaborated with major international titles such as Vogue, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and The New Yorker.
Under his gaze, the STERED T-shirt naturally finds its place in a series of portraits of Sting, giving this story a particularly special resonance.
OVER TIME
No campaign planned in advance, no orchestrated collaboration: the story between Sting and STERED developed naturally.
Over the years, Sting has continued to wear our designs, during his travels as well as in more personal moments.
Images that reach us regularly and tell, in their own way, a story that goes far beyond a simple initial crush.
From Brittany to other horizons, this spontaneous loyalty gives the story between Sting and STERED a very special resonance.
The adventure continues
Since its inception, STERED has drawn its inspiration from Brittany, amid ports, sea spray, and marine horizons. A land of character, deeply tied to the brand’s identity. An anchor point that has never stopped STERED from always looking out to the open sea.
The story with Sting is a perfect illustration of this: born simply and almost by chance, it has taken the STERED universe far beyond the Breton coast.
